Christmas in the County Seat! Start the season of good cheer off with an old-fashioned holiday feeling in downtown Morris. The nostalgic street lights downtown take on a festive glow with wreaths and lights adorning the lampposts. The celebration features the lighted holiday parade, the lighting of Chapin Park with carriage rides and Santa, a children’s winter carnival, trolley rides, Santa and his reindeer, festival of trees, and a holiday house walk of beautiful Morris homes that you won’t want to miss. Each home is decorated in festive holiday fare and many feature some of the downtown merchants best offerings for the season. If you want to get into the Christmas spirit, be sure to visit during Home for the Holidays.
